Powdertech is one of South Africa’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of raw materials which find application in the lubrication and friction industries (particularly the manufacture of brake pads).

Powdertech is managed and operated by its 2 directors and owners Johan Maritz and Tony Martingano. We are conveniently situated in Industries West, Germiston less than 1km from the M2 and N1 highways.

The 2 owners have a cumulative history and experience in the industry of over 60 years.

Our factory consists of various manufacturing and processing equipment (screening, crushing, drying, and also an in-house laboratory), operated by skilled and experienced staff.

The company boasts a small fleet of trucks and where necessary, we make use of our close partners in the transport industry for any additional overflow requirements.
